Peter Jurhs works at Boise State University as the Executive Director, Network Infrastructure and Endpoint Services. He has over 20 years of IT experience in education. He spent nearly 15 years at Boise State University before spending nearly 8 years at Nampa School District. At Nampa School District, he was the Director of Information Services and later the Executive Director of Operations.

Peter has been participating in WestNet since June 2022. He is looking forward to helping the community connect and share. Peter states, "We can get better by sharing and collaborating." He also believes strongly in education as the one thing that no circumstance can take away from an individual.

He is married to his wife, Adria, and has four children. Adria works for the Nampa Family Justice Center as a Sexual Assault Advocate. Grace has graduated from Boise State with a degree in English with a linguistics emphasis and is working to help adult English language learners. Brock is attending Boise State studying Geosciences with a focus on hydrology. Ike enjoys band and is currently playing in the middle school concert and jazz bands. Cal has special needs as he was diagnosed with Myoclonic Atonic Epilepsy (Doose Syndrome). It is refractory epilepsy that is difficult to treat and has caused learning delays. When Peter does get a bit of free time, he enjoys trying to get out and attempt to fly fish.
